"Give me a block of wood and a lathe, and I'll turn it into something you'll want to keep for a lifetime."

I'm Bruce Carter, and I make items on a wood lathe — bowls, duck calls, deer calls, salt cellars and more. Every piece starts as raw wood and is shaped, sanded and finished by hand in my workshop in McAlester, Oklahoma. No two pieces ever come out the same — and that's exactly the point.
